Understand the Pulse.

Ian is a storyteller first, drawn to narrative in all its forms—from page to stage to screen. Raised in Manhattan, he was shaped by the books of the New York Public Library, the spectacle of Broadway, and the energy of Tribeca’s film scene. Writing has always been the cornerstone of his creative work and hones his craft by composing prose, plays, and poetry.

Alongside fantasy fiction, he is developing future projects in the thriller and science fiction genres. Ian’s storytelling motto: Story is a Pulse, not a prompt.

Vein of Destiny was inspired in part by a reflection from Victor Hugo:

“Though we chisel away at the mysterious block from which our life is made, the dark vein of destiny continually reappears.”

Ian lives in the Midwest with his wife and son.
