Ian is a storyteller first, drawn to narrative in all its forms—from page to stage to screen. Raised in Manhattan, he was shaped by the books of the New York Public Library, the spectacle of Broadway, and the energy of Tribeca’s film scene.

Writing remains the foundation of his creative work. Alongside fantasy fiction, he has written plays and screenplays and is developing future projects centered on archetypes, self-mastery, and transformation.

Vein of Destiny was inspired in part by a reflection from Victor Hugo:

“Though we chisel away at the mysterious block from which our life is made, the dark vein of destiny continually reappears.”

He lives in the Midwest with his wife and son.
